How to Reuse Packing Products

After moving, you will end up with a ton of left over packing products, and it’s simply just a waste to throw everything away. Obviously, some stuff won’t be reusable, but you definitely can make use of most of packing products that you probably spent a lot of money on! Your local movers in Pittsburgh from All My Sons Moving & Storage are going to tell you how to reuse your packing products.

Reusing packing material for its original purpose is one of the easiest ways to extend its life. Sometimes, there just isn’t room to save everything, so save the small and medium sized boxes- if you can. These sized boxes are great for holiday gifts or care packages for any children away at college.

If you have young children, save your cardboard boxes and cut them into small shapes and sizes. You will have so many craft projects to keep your kids entertained! The same goes for any leftover packing paper. Flatten it out and cut small squares out for the kids and they will never run out of drawing space.  Speaking of young children, you can build a fort or a mini-house with the large cardboard boxes and the kids will spend hours using their imaginations!

If you want to get really creative, our local movers suggest that you make stylish storage bins out of your cardboard boxes. All you need is: gold screw bolts, spray adhesive and fabric of your choice. The spray adhesive and bolts will hold the fabric covers in place, and in a matter of minutes you have new storage bins!
