Experience Museums and Exhibits in Pittsburgh this Winter

There is always something happening in the busy state of Pennsylvania, especially in the city of Pittsburgh this winter. Some exhibits cost money, but others are absolutely free! All My Sons Moving & Storage, located right here in Pittsburgh, is here to share some amazing museums and exhibits in Pittsburgh for you to take advantage of.

Until December 31, you can see Humpback Whales on Pittsburgh’s largest movie screen at Rangos Omnimax Theater located at the Carnegie Science Center, one of the four Carnegie Museums of Pittsburgh. Humpback Whales is appropriate for all ages and has a runtime of about 40 minutes.

Until January 22, 2017, you can visit the Andy Warhol Museum and experience Andy Warhol: My Perfect Body. All My Sons suggests keeping the kids at home when heading out to this event in Pittsburgh this winter, for this exhibit displays a comprehensive look at Andy Warhol’s engagement with the body. It also includes some of the struggles in his own physical appearance. Some diagrams may not be appropriate for children.

Until March 18, 2017, you can celebrate the 200th anniversary of Pittsburgh! The Historic Pittsburgh – Happy 200 takes place at the Photo Antiques Museum of Photographic History. This event in Pittsburgh this winter is child-friendly. Because Pittsburgh was originated before photography was, there are no photographs from during that time. The museum has put together a special historic event with photos and artifacts from Pittsburgh in its early youth.
