New to Pittsburgh and love golf? The 21st annual Emmaus Golf Classic is near! Put on by the Emmaus Community, an organization dedicated to ensure comfortable and stable housing/living for any person with autism or cognitive disabilities. This living facility strives to provide individuals with the help they need to live with dignity, offering many services to aid with their disabilities. The classic will take place on September 26, 2016 at the Olde Stonewall Golf Club in Ellwood City, just an hour outside of Pittsburgh. The event will cost $375 per golfer. The day begins with breakfast and a traditional shotgun start. Lunch will be served on the course. Following the day of golf will be a dinner, and a follow up evening program.
There is an array of prizes for all top ten winners. Prizes include hotel stays, Pittsburgh Steelers tickets, a spot at the 2017 Emmaus Golf Classic and more. This classic has been raising money for the Emmaus community since the 90s and is highly looked forward to. Many residents and employees of the community attend the Emmaus Golf Classic, as do many of Pittsburgh elites.
