Holiday Fitness Events in Pittsburgh

Between all of your packing, organizing, cleaning, unloading, and everything else that comes along with using Pittsburgh movers to relocate to a new home, it is easy to see how you can overlook other things in your life. After all, who has time to make it to the gym when you are busy using your Pittsburgh moving company to move your entire family – right in the middle of the holiday season?

Luckily for you, you don’t have to worry about missing out on holiday festivities or scoping out a brand new gym right when your Pittsburgh movers get to town. Pittsburgh has plenty of options that let you enjoy the best of both worlds; all you have to do is pick which one of these holiday fitness events in Pittsburgh you want to tackle first!

Cookie Run and Toy Drive. On December 19, bring your whole family, an unwrapped gift to donate to the local children’s hospital, and your batch of favorite holiday cookies to exchange and share. There will be a 3, 6, and 10-mile training run, so decide which one you want to take on!

Jingle Bell Run. This is the perfect holiday fitness activity to do while your Pittsburgh movers finish unloading all of your belongings. Head over to North Shore on December 13, in your most festive holiday gear for the most spirited run you will ever go on.

Polar Plunge. Warning: this event is not for the faint of heart. Support the Special Olympics by jumping into the Ohio River in nothing but a bathing suit on December 12. We warned you, there is a reason it is called the Polar Plunge!
